Yamasakura / Cherry Blossom (Indian) Necklace

Yamazakura is a type of cherry blossom that grows in India as well, a tall tree with a very thick trunk and long tapered leaves.

As you can see, they live up to their gorgeous pink colour – so soft, delicate and the epitome of grace. It’s one of the flowers I’ve been waiting for and I can NOT explain the emotions I’m going through right now as I hold these beautiful pieces in my hands. They’re soft, papery and I was so worried that my non traditional drying method would kill it but it has stayed true to its form and colour.

I’m so so grateful for everything around me right now. Its amazing how you want to see a flower so bad and you find it in the middle of no where when you least expect it!
